| How the scheme works
Any parents who have children
at one of the Participating Schools
can join the Bromley School Run scheme for free.
All you have to do Register your details on-line
and follow the simple instructions...
All parents registering with the scheme will be asked to complete a Criminal
Records Bureau Disclosure Form, which will be sent to you once you've
registered. You'll need to return the completed form to the School Secretary,
along with identification documents and a copy of your Motor Insurance
Certificate. The completed form will then be sent to the CRB to be checked
(this will take between 4 and 6 weeks), and once you've been approved
you'll be sent a password via e-mail, giving you access to the Bromley
School Run scheme.
As soon as you've got access to the scheme you can register your journey
requirements and the system will automatically find other local parents
with children at the same school/s as you. You can then make contact with
any parent you choose, through a secure e-mail, and arrange to meet them
to discuss the school run.
The scheme has been designed to be as safe and secure as possible. If
you would like to know more about these issues, please go to our Safety
and Security page.
